Everything That's Happened Until Now

So far I've participated in a number of rides to prepare for the MS150. The first was an easy ten mile ride on a December evening. I, and my National Instruments teammates, rode through several Austin neighborhoods for both the experience and the Christmas lights.

Early this month, again with the NI team, I put in about thirty miles in a loop that took me through countryside north of Round Rock and into Georgetown.

Two weeks ago, I managed fifty miles on an Austin Cycling Association route called "Weir Lost", named for the town of Weir. The last ten miles were challenging.

And today I rode forty miles in another ACA route, "Jakes Hill". Late morning near Hutto featured a good amount of fog.

Right now I expect my 10k run time to be under 50 minutes. Seven minute miles don't seem out of the question, but I don't have an accurate measurement of my time over 10k (6.3 miles). When I run, I normally do so for 50 minutes, but the distance I cover is not clear since I have been exclusively concerned with heart rate. My best guess is six miles, though.
